Mission is moving on in the 8-man football playoffs after a wild come-from-behind rally over Ennis on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (10-0) stormed back from a 20-point deficit in the first quarter to win 36-27 in the quarterfinals.

Ennis stunned the undefeated Bulldogs with 20 unanswered points to open the game. The score was 27-8 at halftime after Mission’s Kellen McClure found the end zone.

The second half was all Mission.

The Bulldogs’ Canyon Sargent punched in a touchdown, followed by another score from Issac Umphrey to end the third quarter.

McClure scored to open the fourth quarter, and Umphrey sealed the win with another touchdown before the final whistle.

Mission next plays Fairview in the semifinals on Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
