LEGAL NOTICE The Board of Lake County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 2:30 pm in the Office of the Lake County Commissioners, Room 211 of the Lake County Courthouse (virtual attendance via ZOOM is an option) on the following item: LAKESHORE PROTECTION REGULATIONS AMENDMENT On September 14, 2022 the Lake County Planning Board held a public hearing to review proposed amendments to the Lake County Lakeshore Protection Regulations. The amendments included all sections of the regulations, as well as the addition of new proposed regulations. The Planning Board recommended that the Board of Lake County Commissioners could adopt the amendments with the conditions of approval that the Lake County Commissioners legal counsel review and comment, specifically on Sections 1-4 and 3-2, and that the following comment from the Planning Board be presented to the Lake County Commissioners: "The Lake County Planning Board strongly urges that before the newly revised Lake County Lakeshore Regulations be adopted, the Lake County Commissioners make concerted efforts to promote, publicize, and urge the adoption and enforcement of similar or equal regulations by all parties who own, control, or regulate lakeshore properties in Lake County, including CS&KT, the State of Montana, and the City of Polson". The Board of Lake County Commissioners will review the Planning Board's recommendation and the proposed amendments for conformance with the criteria for issuance of a permit found in 75-7- 207, MCA, make any revisions or amendments determined necessary, and may pass a resolution of intention to adopt the amendments. Scope includes crack sealing, seal & cover, fog seal, rumble strips, new pavement markings and signing. Crack Seal and fog seal on the existing shared use path will also be done. HSIP 24(66) - Guardrail, signing, solar flashing beacon, and approach grading on Glover Road in Lake County. The project begins at RP 0.78 near the bridge over Pablo A Canal and proceeds east to RP 0.66 on Local Road (L-24-234).
