Pirates plunder Browning, 54-0

POLSON – Keyen Nash rushed for two touchdowns and a game-high 101 yards in a 54-0 shut out win over the visiting Browning Indians on Thursday night.

Pirate quarterback Jarrett Wilson threw a pair of touchdown passes connecting on 9 of 14 passes for 123 yards and rushed twice for 44 yards and two touchdowns.

Dawson Dumont grabbed two receptions for 66 yards and two TDs, while Trent Wilson chipped in with three catches and a touchdown.

The 7-0 Pirates look to wrap up the season undefeated on Friday night as they host the 6-2 Whitefish Bulldogs.

On Friday night for the Ronan Chiefs, DaVonne Curley and Trenton Burland each scored a rushing touchdown, while Peterson Watkins snagged a 22-yard pass from Ted Coffman in a 38-21 road loss to the Corvallis Blue Devils.

In Plains on Friday night, the Charlo Vikings clinched a post season playoff spot, breaking a five-season post season drought, with a 54-20 win over the hosting Plains Horsemen.

Arlee Warriors 74, Valley Christian Eagles 32

The Arlee Warriors slapped an exclamation mark to the end of their 2022 football season Friday night with a 74-32 win over the visiting Valley Christian Eagles.

The Warriors overpowered the Eagles in the first half 60-20.

Warrior quarterback Kendall O’Neill opened up the scoring in the first quarter with an eight-yard touchdown pass to Kaiden Ostby. O’Neill finished the evening with five passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.

Charley Crawford snagged three TD passes of 33, 16, and 81-yards, while Jake Knoll rushed for three touchdowns of which the longest being a second quarter 36-yard scamper into the endzone.

The Warriors finish the season with an overall record of 5-3.
