Football Roundup: Pirates remain undefeated
EAST HELENA — Jarrett Wilson threw five touchdown passes to lead the Polson High School football team to a 36-13 victory at East Helena on Friday.
Jarrett Wilson completed 22 of 40 passes for 272 yards, with three scoring throws going to his brother Trent Wilson and two to Keyen Nash.
The Pirates’ rushing attack was also led by Jarrett Wilson with 111 yards on 16 carries. Nash added 58 yards on 11 attempts.
Trent Wilson had 10 catches for 155 yards, while Nash nabbed four catches for 66 yards.

On Friday, the Arlee Warriors slipped past the hosting Darby Tigers 22-20.
Warrior quarterback Kandall O’Neill hit Jake Knoll and Kaiden Ostby for two touchdown passes. Knoll also rushed for a 53-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

In Victor on Saturday, the Charlo Vikings improved to 3-0 on the season with a 42-8 victory over the Victor Pirates.
Keaton Piedalue had four catches for 114 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 62-yards on eight carries.
Also on the ground for Charlo, Tayre Brown rushed for three touchdowns on nine carries and 41 yards, while Hayden Hollow completed 9 of 12 passes for 173 yards and three touchdowns.
The Viking defense held the Pirates to only 105 yards total offense on 42 plays.

The Ronan Chiefs moved to 0-2 on the season on Friday night with a 44-16 Northwestern A conference loss to the hosting Columbia Falls Wildcats.
Robbie McCray led all receivers with five catches for 57 yards and a touchdown followed by Laurance Lozeau with a touchdown on 22 yards and three catches.
Chief quarterback Caleb Cheff threw for 178 yards and two touchdowns while completing 20 of 37 passes. Cheff also rushed nine times for 26 yards and a fumble.
