Pirate soccer wins first game of the season

LIBBY – Pietro Durando nets three goals to lead the Polson Pirates to their first victory of the season in a 6-3 Northwestern A conference win over the Libby Loggers on the road Saturday.

Anthony Lichtenberg, Robert Merchant, and Ted Mausshardt also found the back of the net for the Pirates, while goal keep Maddox Bird stopped eight shots in the winning effort.
