St. Ignatius Seniors: Burn carefully
Please be careful when burning yard waste, papers, and fields. As many of you know that a family lost their house in Polson to fire this last weekend.
We are having a Mother’s Day Basket Raffle. Some of the items included are a $30 gift certificate to Bev’s Bloomers, yard decorations, handmade pot holders, kitchen items with more. We have started selling raffle tickets. The Mother’s Day Bake Sale is May 12-13.
The St. Ignatius Senior Center’s indoor yard sale will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 28-29. Donations are welcome.
The center is looking for an assistant cook; call 406-745-4462 and leave message if no one answers, or apply through the Lake County Job Service.
We had a good crowd at our Bingo April 15 and Blackout was worth $75. Our next Bingo game starts at 2 p.m. May 13.
The lunch menu, served at noon Tuesdays and Fridays, soup and sandwiches, April 21; buttery tuna rice, April 25; and chicken spaghetti, April 28.
If you are interested in a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. and leave a message. The center also a computer available for public use from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays; and the facility is available to rent.
Gentle Yoga with Bonnie Kiser meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays. For more information, call 406-253-0177; classes are $60 for five sessions.
Foot Hill club meets at 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays for snacks and cards.
Also on the calendar: Women for Wellness event is May 18 at Salish Kootenai College. It offers lots of information, testing and interaction.
