Lewis Croft, 87

Born April 22, 1935, Lewis Croft passed away April 20 from lung cancer at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena.

Lewis was born in Miles City to Stephen and Gladys Croft. Their family moved in 1937 to the base of the Mission Mountains near Mud Creek. He married Mary Elisabeth Whyte on Aug. 11, 1956, and they purchased a home in Polson where they raised four boys.

He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing and will be greatly missed.
