St. Ignatius Seniors: Yard sale this week
The St. Ignatius Senior Center’s indoor yard sale will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 28-29. Come in on Friday and enjoy our noon meal of chicken spaghetti, veggies, fruit, garlic bread and dessert.
Tickets for the Mother’s Day Basket Raffle are available. Some of the items included are a $30 gift certificate to Bev’s Bloomers, yard decorations, handmade pot holders, kitchen items and more.
The center hosts a bake sale for Mother’s Day on May 12 and 13 and will offer a variety of goodies –cookies, bread pudding, zucchini bread, brownies and many more tasty items.
The center is looking for an assistant cook; call 406-745-4462 and leave a message or apply through the Lake County Job Service.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy meals with us. You do not have to be a member of the Senior Center, but we may ask if you want to join for $10 a year.
The lunch menu, served at noon Tuesdays and Fridays, includes chicken spaghetti, April 28; scalloped potatoes and ham, May 2; and sweet and sour chicken, May 5. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. May 3 and includes roast pork, mashed potatoes and gravy.
If you are interested in a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. and leave a message. The center also a computer available for public use from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays; and the facility is available to rent.
Gentle Yoga with Bonnie Kiser meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays. For more information, call 406-253-0177; classes are $60 for five sessions.
Foot Hill club meets at 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays for snacks and cards.
Women for Wellness is May 18 at Salish Kootenai College and offers lots of information, testing and interaction. Register at w4w.skc.edu. Men are welcome too.
