Roger Clark, 72

| August 3, 2023 12:00 AM

Roger (Joe) Clark was born July 22, 1950, in Missoula to Joseph Clark and LeNora Burgess-Clark. They moved to Anaconda when he was five, and he attended school there.

He passed away suddenly in his own home on July 7, 2023, only a half a mile from where his parents lived and where he was born. Joe was 72 years old.

After school, Joe traveled around the U.S. working and making many friends along the way. He loved to hunt and fish, especially if he had a friend to swap tales with along the way.

He married Margaret Morrison and settled in Ronan, building a house and running a pump service until their divorce.

Joe lived his life his way, with as many adventures as possible. But his first love has always been fishing holes, wildlife and beautiful views of Montana.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Benz and Nancy Clark; nephew Ed Benz; nieces Elaine Badley and family, Wanda Hinzman and family, and Romona Binnewies and family; plus many cherished cousins and friends.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in Joe's name to any organization that gets kids outside would be appropriate.
