Polson places 4th at Tip-Off Tourney

The action was plentiful at the 2023 NWA/SWA Tip-Off Volleyball Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 25-26, in Columbia Falls. Polson went 9-3 in set wins in pool play action, while Ronan won five sets during the tournament.

After seeded play began, Dillon won the tournament, sweeping Whitefish 25-19, 25-13, and the Lady Bulldogs finished second. Polson was defeated by Frenchtown, 25-8, 23-25 and 15-14, to place fourth. Ronan defeated Butte Central 25-16, 25-23 to place 11th in the tournament.

In pool play, Polson split with Frenchtown, 23-25, 25-13, split with Hamilton, 25-20, 24-25, and also split with Dillon, 17-25, 25-19. The Lady Pirates swept Butte Central, Corvallis and Stevensville convincingly.

Ronan split with Dillon, 25-18, 20-25, split with Butte Central, 15-25, 25-24, and split with Corvallis, 25-15, 25-24. Ronan defeated Stevensville, 25-17, 25-24, but fell to Frenchtown in pool play.
