Arlee posts two wins at Hamilton Tip-Off Tournament

The Arlee boys kicked off the season with a bang at the Tip-Off Tournament in Hamilton Dec. 1-2, posting wins over Noxon Friday and Plains Saturday.  

Scoring over 20 points in the first two quarters, the Warriors got 20 points from Ben Harlow-Old Person and another 12 from Tavin Lapahie in a 76-26 victory over Noxon.

Arlee led 45-17 at halftime and then held the Red Devils to nine points in the second half. The Warriors’ Jake Knoll added 11 points, while Kendall O’Neill had 10.

On day two, Arlee improved to 2-0 on the year, making the best of the second Tip-Off Tournament matchup with a 60-41 victory over Plains. Kendall O’Neill notched 16 points for the Warriors, while Ben Harlow-Old Person added 13.

Arlee had a 19-11 lead after the first quarter and a 26-19 advantage at halftime. The Warriors went on a 17-8 run in the third quarter to ice the game against the Horsemen. Jake Knoll added 11 points to the Warriors’ efforts.
