Lady Bulldogs face a reshuffled Western 7B
This season, Mission faces a Western 7B league that lost girls' basketball power Bigfork and added Superior. The Lady Bulldogs are coming off a 17-7 season under Head Coach Dalton Delaney.
"I thought we did fairly well last year, and many of the younger girls got tons of experience," Delaney said. "My expectations going into this season are having the ability to play more girls and also having some junior and senior leadership."
Last season, Mission scored 1,321 points (55 PPG) while giving up 972 points (40 PPG). Izzy Evans, Kason Page, Cora Matt and Ellanah Flat Lip are returning players from this powerful squad.
"I think the strength of my team this year will be the amount of girls I have with varsity experience," Delaney said.
Mission has started the season 4-2 and is the highest-scoring team in the league (50 PPG).
