Boys Class B Basketball: Warriors remain undefeated

The Warriors improved their record to 5-0 on the season, defeating Valley Christian 77-61 in non-league basketball action on Saturday, Dec. 16, at home.

Ben Harlow-Old Person lit up the scoreboard for 21 points, while Ethan Fidley added 16. Arlee jumped out to a 44-27 halftime lead and continued to pour it on, scoring 25 points in the third quarter.

Jake Knoll and Jace Arca each added six points to the Warriors' efforts.

Mission's comeback falls short against Deer Lodge

Despite a comeback attempt by Mission in the second half, the Bulldogs fell to Deer Lodge at home, 66-52 in Western 7B action on Saturday, Dec. 16. Landon Walks Over Ice scored 20 points for Mission, while Lex LaFrombois carded 15.

The first half saw Deer Lodge open up a 45-19 lead. Mission's offense came alive after halftime, however, outscoring Deer Lodge by five in the third quarter and seven in the fourth quarter.

Vinny Shepard added eight points to the Bulldogs' efforts.

Arlee wins Lake County rivalry matchup

Ben Harlow-Old Person scored 21 points for the Warriors, and Arlee won bragging rights in a Lake County matchup over Mission, 85-37, on Friday, Dec. 15.

Arlee's offense scored over 20 points in the first three quarters. At halftime, the Warriors led 43-13. Ethan Fiddler added 14 to Arlee's efforts, while Jake Knoll and Tavin Tapahie each scored 11.

Mission was led by Lex LaFrombois’ 19 points while Landon Walks Over Ice had 16.
