Polson man charged with sexual assault of minor
A Polson man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor. Jerod Eugene Koldeway, 44, entered a plea of not guilty in Polson District Court Dec. 13 to sexual intercourse without consent.
According to charging documents, on Oct 15 a minor girl reported to her school counselor that she was assaulted by Koldeway. She said it happened while she was in Koldeway’s pick-up parked in front of her home. She said she immediately ran into the house to take a shower.
She indicated that Koldeway knocked on the door and wanted to join her. She said she went to her room and locked the door. She also said that Koldeway told her not to say anything because he didn’t want to “ruin his life.”
Judge Molly Owen set the case for trial June 3. Koldeway is at liberty after posting bond in the amount of $40,000.
