Lorilie Holyk, 68
After two and a half years of fighting pancreatic cancer, Lorilie Holyk, 68, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 15 at her home in Yuma, Ariz. Her husband, Tim, son Michael, and daughter-in-law Donnel were by her side.
Lorilie was born Dec. 6, 1954 in Ronan to Delbert and Ida McGuire. She had two children, Michael and Malynda, as well as one grandson, Timmy.
She married Tim Holyk in 1986 while living in Polson where she spent her early years as a beautician, owning and operating the Beauty Galley. Her later years were spent in the golf industry where she worked on the golf courses making sure all the flowers were well taken care of both in Polson and later in Yuma.
Lorilie's passions were her family, baking, gardening, babysitting her grand puppies and spending the summers in Montana with her sister, Patty Jo, brother Jerry, and all the wild animals. She especially enjoyed feeding the deer and wild turkeys from the balcony of their house.
Her surviving family are her older brother Jerry and his wife, Sue McGuire, and younger sister, Patty Jo and her husband, Gary Patterson.
