Fairfield hosts Junior Ref Clinic

Citing a “worsening referee shortage” the Fairfield Basketball Club is the first ever Montana Junior Ref Clinic for Basketball March 18 at Fairfield High School.

Boys and girls in grades 6-12 are encouraged to attend the free clinic and learn to officiate.

Junior clinic registrants will participate in a one-hour clinic at 8 a.m. and ref actual games in rotation from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Youngsters will be mentored by members of the Montana Officials Association (MOA) and will work with them in small groups during each game.
