Lake County Spelling Bee – 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the St. Ignatiius High School new gym. Cheer on top spellers from across the county as they vie for an opportunity to attend the state spelling bee.

Ronan Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – The Hall of Fame Committee hosts its annual Induction Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Ronan Community Center. The event begins with Indian tacos ($10), with the ceremony at 2 p.m. This year’s crop of inductees includes Distinguished Athletes Monica VanMaanen and Bobby Camel, Distinguished Alumni Gary Hughes, Distinguished Coach Crystal Pitts, Distinguished Community Member Dr. Joe McDonald, and Distinguished Team the 1974 State Championship football squad.

Arlee Rehabilitation Center Gala – 5-9 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula; second annual event brings together ARC supporters, board members, staff and community leaders for a catered dinner and live and silent auctions. Furry friends, special guests, and culturally specific Tribal perspectives add to the evening. Ronan Family Night Out – 5-7 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Red Poppy in Ronan; Friends Forever Mentoring’s event includes a nacho bar, movies, art and crafts and free giveaways. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free; call 406-529-9297.

Dr. Daylight’s Jazz Company – 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at Polson High School Auditorium; Louisiana-based jazz ensemble traverses traditional jazz standards and reconstructs top 40 arrangements, with a twist of jazz. Tickets to the Mission Valley Live! performance are $15 for adults and free for 18 and under and available at the door or online at missionvalleylive.com.
