Teenagers restore faith in our future

I would like to send an appreciation to the three (sorry if it was four – that's all I noticed) young men that helped me over the weekend.

Because of my bad judgement about the road, Eagle Pass Trail, I slammed on the brakes and slowly over-corrected and landed in a steep ditch so the car was sideways.

Thank the Lord no one was hurt and there was no collision.

The youngsters (I am 47) stopped and got out to see if I was all right. They didn't have to, but they helped me out and gave me a ride home, even though I was within walking distance.

Although it may have seemed like no big deal to the teenagers, it was a great deal to me. They have restored my faith in the future of all of our home in this area.

Once again many thank-yous (lem lmts) to you guys. Keep those responsible and smart characteristics.
