Paving continues on U.S. 93-Ronan North
After a break from July 1-4, paving operations have resumed on the Hwy. 93 project north of Ronan, with crews on site from 5 a.m.-6:30 p.m. through Saturday.
Paving continues on the northbound lanes, the approaches to 3rd Ave. and Old U.S. 93, and the southbound couplet – the short, 600-foot two-lane segment connecting 1st Ave. to Hwy. 93, just north of the Round Butte Road and US 93 intersection.
Milling is also underway on the northbound and southbound lanes at the north end of the project. Traffic will be traveling on a gravel surface in the work zone.
Work continues on the new approach to Lake Seed, which leads to the permanent closure of Spring Creek Road at U.S. 93, expected to occur the second week of July.
The resurfacing project on Round Butte Road west of Ronan also continues, with crews will be on-site July 5-6 to chip seal, sweep, fog seal, and paint the permanent road markings. If conditions allow, the Department of Transportation expects to complete the project by this Thursday.
