LEGAL NOTICE The Lake County Planning Board will hold a public meeting Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the large conference room (Room 316) of the Lake County Courthouse. The options for attendance are through ZOOM* or in person. Agenda items include: RED OWL MT LLC MAJOR SUBDIVISION Tamara Tanberg, on behalf of Red Owl MT, LLC., has proposed a major subdivision to create twenty-seven (27) residential lots from a 103.20-acre parcel of land located within a 5-acre density on the Lake County Suggested Density Map within the 2018 Growth Policy. The subdivision is proposed to be served by individual drain fields, wastewater systems, and wells. It is located approximately 6 miles southeast of MT Hwy 35 in Bigfork and on the east side of MT Hwy 83 and is legally described as NW4NE4 and N2NW4 of COS 7563 located in section 12, T26N, R19W. The Planning Board will review the proposed subdivision and make a recommendation for denial, approval, or conditional approval to the Board of County Commissioners. VIEW ACRES SUBDIVISION COVENANT AMENDMENT REQUEST Julie Reffner, on behalf of View Acres Subdivision Homeowner’s Association, has requested an amendment to the covenants and road maintenance agreement. If approved it would amend the maintenance assessment, architectural control, and buildings and use sections of the covenants as well as the responsibility during construction section of the road maintenance agreement for View Acres Subdivision, a recorded subdivision located within NW4 NE4 of section 12 of T22N, R20W. The Planning Board will review the proposed covenant amendment and make a recommendation for denial, approval, or conditional approval to the Board of County Commissioners. Information regarding the agenda item is available from the Lake County Planning Dept. Written comments received by July 31, 2023 will be included in the board packets. All written and verbal comments are welcome and will be forwarded to the board for their consideration. Comments received after July 31 will be provided to the board at the meeting, which may not provide sufficient time for review of the comment. Public comments regarding water and/or sewer proposals for subdivisions are encouraged to be submitted in writing.
