Friends of the Library Book Sale – 10 a.m.-3 p.m. June 16-17 at the Presbyterian Church, 301 4th Ave. East (across from Linderman School); sale features a large selection of used books, including DVDs and audiobooks, all at bargain prices. Proceeds support the North Lake County Public Library’s many programs and services.
Father’s Day Weekend Rendezvous – 10 a.m.-4 p.m. June 17-18 at Fort Connah, north of St. Ignatius; book-signings, free wagon rides, a Native American food tent, living history demonstrations, black-powder shoots, a bake sale, guided walks to Angus McDonald’s cemetery, and a Children’s Candy Cannon Shoot are part of festivities.
