Four file for St. Ignatius town council

Filing closed at 5 p.m. June 19 for Lake County’s three municipal elections on Nov. 7. Unless write-in candidates file by 5 p.m. Sept. 5, the only contested races are in St. Ignatius, which has four candidates for two at-large seats.

Polson: Incumbents Carolyn Pardini (Ward 3) and Jen Ruggless (Ward 1) filed to retain their seats on the city commission.

Ronan: Incumbents Ellen Kaphammer (Ward 1) and Julie Lynn Moore (Ward 3) filed for city council.

St. Ignatius: The town council has four candidates vying for two openings: incumbents Steve McCollum and Janis Heffern are opposed by Rikki Menz-Merchant and Davin Sorrell.
