St. Ignatius Seniors: Spring ahead

Did you remember to Spring Ahead on your clock on Sunday, March 12? According to the calendar, the first day of spring right around the corner on March 20.

The lunch menu, served at noon Tuesdays and Fridays, includes reuben sandwiches, March 17 (corned-beef and cabbage for Meals on Wheels recipients); taco bake, March 21; and pork casserole, March 24.

If you are interested in a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. and leave a message if no one answers. The center is also available for rentals; leave a message for info.

Bonnie Kiser teaches Gentle Yoga at 1 p.m. Wednesdays. For more information, call 406-253-0177; classes are $60 for five sessions.

Foot Hill club meets at 1p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays for snacks and cards.

Tax help is available; drop off paperwork at the center for completion by trained AARP preparers.

The center will host QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention training at 1 and 5 p.m. March 22 in cooperation with the St. Ignatius Police Chief. This is an important training as Montana is

No. 1 in the nation for suicides. All are welcome.

Also on the calendar: AARP offers a driving class at 1 p.m. March 18; the center hosts a rummage sale April 28-29 (donations welcome); and the Mother’s Day Bake Sale and Raffle is May 12-13.
