Bring on the green: Ronan celebrates St. Patrick's Day

Around 30 entries, including a host of green-themed floats, fire trucks, goats, motorcycles, a leprechaun perched on a firetruck, and the ever-present green horse, traveled down Main Street in Ronan last Friday for the community’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

This year's parade winners are:

Most Irish: 2nd Chance Saloon

Best Irish Animal: Templer Green Horse Green Horse Team: Pete White Family

Biggest Shamrocks: Mission Mountain Enterprises

Greenest Float: Valley Club

Best Kids: Lily the Irish Fairy Pub Wars: Bird/Pheasant

Best Overall: O'Leary's Old Ladies

The large and festive parade celebration of Ireland’s patron saint is organized by TRIC (The Ronan Irish Community), which expressed appreciation “to all the entries, judges, security, supporters and spectators who joined us for this fun event.”
