Montana ShamRockers pay homage to Women's History Month
The Montana ShamRockers celebrate Women’s History Month with a free concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 24, at Polson’s Theatre on the Lake.
No reservations are necessary, but audience members should plan to arrive a little after 6:30 p.m. as seats are on a first-come, first-served basis for this informative and musical show.
Band members Rob (Robbie) Sloan, Neal (Nailes) Lewing, Mike (Paddy) Lozar, John (Liam) Glueckert, and Rick (Captain) Skates say they are excited to honor women’s contributions near and far with songs and stories.
The lads are also celebrating the band’s 20th year. “We can't think of a better way to observe our anniversary than to honor women locally and around the world," they say.
The homegrown band blends traditional and original Celtic tunes, “from toe-tappers to hanky-soakers,” and has performed across Montana and all the way to Ireland.
