Alvin Merritt, Jr.
Alvin Garth Merritt Jr., 89, of Polson (Irvin Flats), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
After graduating from Polson High School, he went on to ride broncs, and then became a rancher. Retiring from ranching he moved to California where he has lived for the past 35 years.
He will always be remembered for his friendly disposition.
Al leaves behind his wife Darlene, son Steve and family, daughter Cindy and family, stepson Dan McLaughlin and family, stepdaughter Emilie McLaughlin and family, and brother Rex Merritt and family.
Memorial services will be held in Polson in July.
