Celebrating Small Business Week

Each year, Senator Daines co-sponsors a Senate resolution to designate the week of April 30-May 6 as “National Small Business Week” in order to celebrate the impact small businesses and entrepreneurs have on Montana communities.

According to a press release from the senator's office, recent data shows that more that 123,400 small businesses call Montana home, accounting for over 99 percent of all businesses in the state.

More than 65 percent of Montana’s workforce is employed by small businesses.
