Polson sweeps Ronan in tennis

Polson continued their strong season, having the boys and girls sweep against Lake County rival Ronan on Wednesday, May 3. The Pirates picked up the 6-0 sweep while the girls won 2-0.

In No. 1 singles boys action, Owen McElwee of Polson defeated Remi Stalhim 6-0, 6-0. Polson's Casey Trosper and Branson Moss also picked up their singles matchups. In boys' double action, Polson's No. 1 squad of Ruger Ellis and Taegen Gage defeated Ronan's Wyatt Simpson and Denta Baltz in a 6-2, 6-3 battle.

Polson's Max Violett and Noah Flaten also won their No. 2 doubles team match for Polson.

The Polson girls got a singles victory by Addi Bahr 6-2, 6-3 over Ronan's Eyeneah Burshia, while Polson doubles team of Vivian Grainey and Mary Agliano defeated Ronan's Amy Snyder and Sara McConnell 6-2, 6-0.
