Mission has bark at District 7B Meet

The Mission boys were second in the District 7B meet, held Saturday in Eureka, with 112 points.

Bryce Umphrey was first in the long jump (20-75) and triple jump (41-10).

Zoran LaFrombois won the boys' 3,200-meter run (10:20.30) for Mission, followed by teammate Harlon Leishman in fourth (11:29.37).

In the 800-meter run, LaFromboise was second (2:11.88), and also claimed the number-two slot in the 1,600-meter run (4:45.81).

Canyon Sargent won the shot put with a heave of 41-10. Kellen McClure was second in the javelin with a mark of 127-0.

In the 100-meter run, Canyon Sargent was second (11.58), while fellow Bulldog Bryce Umphrey was fourth (11.87). Sargent was fourth in the 200-meter run (24.15) and Isaac Umphrey was fourth in the 400-meter run (54.77).

In the 4x100 relay, Mission placed second (46.11) with the running of Bryce Umphrey, Kellen McClure, Milo Crooks, and Canyon Sargent. Mission was also second in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:45.41, thanks to Isaac Umphrey, Bryce Umphrey, McClure, and LaFrombois.
