Entries open for Golf for the Griz tournament

The Mission Mountain Chapter of the Grizzly Scholarship Association is hosting its annual Golf for the Griz Memorial Tournament on Friday June 9, at the Mission Mountain Golf Course in Ronan. All proceeds go for Grizzly Athletic Scholarships.

The four-person scramble begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start. Registration fees are $460 per team which includes greens fees, cart, prizes, dinner and a snack-bar buffet, with Rocky Mountain oysters served as a special treat. Extra dinner tickets are available for $25 each. Dinner will be served starting at 4 p.m.

Also included in the event are the silent auction and a 50-50 drawing for a chance to win some cash.

Guests will include Grizzly coaches and athletic department representatives who will be participating in the scramble and presenting the program following the golf event.

Entry deadline is June 8 and entries are accepted on a first- come, first-serve basis and limited to 32 teams.
