Ronan Seniors: Need donations for new oven

Our oven is going out! We have applied for grants but that will only cover part of the cost so we are asking for donations to cover the remainder. Send your donation to: Mission Valley Senior Center, 528 Main St SW, Ronan, MT 59864 and note on your check Oven Fund.

The center is serving turkey dinner with all the fixings from noon-1:30 p.m. Nov. 12. Come join us for an early taste of turkey!

Other meals at the center include turkey and noodles, Nov. 13; and hashbrown casserole Nov. 15. Our Sunday dinner has changed to the second Sunday of each month (Nov. 12).

Anyone is welcome for our meals no matter what age. We ask for a $7 donation for our Monday, Wednesday and Friday meals and $10 for our Sunday meal. Those who would like a meal delivered – including businesses – are encouraged to call the center at 406-676-2371 by 10 a.m. Menus are also available by request.

The center, located across from St. Luke Hospital in Ronan, is typically open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for lunch and other activities.

Bailey Insurance will visit the center from 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 13 to discuss Medicare open enrollment options.

We are having a bazaar and bake sale from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 18. If you are interested in a table, call us at 676-2371.

We are holding the first Memory Café on Nov. 22. For information call Danika at 406-409-8149.

Activities at the center include pinochle, 3:30-6 p.m. Mondays; and a pool table is available 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All are welcome.

The Senior Center is available to rent for your events. Call us if you are having an event and need a location to have it.
