Warriors notch sixth straight win

Arlee remained undefeated on the season after thumping Plains 50-6 in Western eight-man football action on Friday, Sept. 29. Jace Arca ran for three touchdowns as the Warriors pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back.

Arca scored in the first quarter on a two-year run, but Plains answered back with a touchdown run of their own. The floodgates opened in the second quarter as Jake Knoll ran from six yards out. Arca then notched his second touchdown run with a 12-yard trip to paydirt. Kendall O’Neill rounded out the first-half scoring with a three-yard touchdown run to make it 28-6 Warriors.

After the break, Arca collected his third score from a 22-yard run, and O’Neill punched it in from 15 yards out to make the score 42-6. The fourth quarter saw Brody Smith run it in from 26 yards out for the final score.

Arlee improved to 6-0 on the year while Plains fell to 1-5.
