Notice of November 7, 2023, Municipal General Nonpartisan Election, St. Ignatius Rural Fire District Levy Election, Ballot Preparation, Counting, Counting of Provisional Ballots, and County Canvass Notice is hereby given by the Lake County Election Administrator that the Municipal General Nonpartisan Election and the St. Ignatius Rural Fire District Levy Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, by mail ballot. Ballots will be mailed on October 18, 2023, to active status voters only. The fiscal impact on a home having a market value of $100,000 is estimated to be $8.36, $25.07 on a home having a market value of $300,000, and $50.14 on a home having a market value of $600,000 each year of the levy. Such an increase in property taxes may lead to an increase in rental costs.
