Broncs buck Ronan

Ronan fell to Frenchtown 35-7 in Western A football action on Friday, Oct. 6, as the Broncs scored 28 unanswered points against the visiting Chiefs.

Ronan scored first as Kolby Finley threw an 11-yard pass to Laurance Lozeau. Finley finished the game, having rushed for 85 yards on 12 rushes while passing for another 75 yards.

Frenchtown had 262 yards on the ground. A touchdown run tied things up 7-7 in the first quarter. The Broncs then hit a 14-yard touchdown pass to go up 14-7 and got a 40-yard touchdown run for the 21-7 halftime lead.

A touchdown pass in both the third and fourth quarters got Frenchtown its final two scores. The Broncs finished with 124 yards.

Lozeau was Ronan’s leading receiver with three catches for 29 yards.

Ronan fell to 3-4 on the season.
