Polson FC U-12 Girls place second at Tamarack Tourney

The Polson FC U-12 Girls' soccer team finished off their autumn tournaments with a second-place finish at the Tamarack Tournament in Kalispell, after falling to the Flathead Rapids in an overtime penalty kick shootout.

The Polson team ended the tournament with wins against Helena and Kalispell, and tied a tough Cranbrook team. Goalkeeper Madison Emerson and defenders Adaleigh Whealon, Elynn Bird and Cozette Gage anchored the Polson team, allowing only six goals through the entire tournament.

Strong attacking efforts from Amelia Lies, Emily Simonich, Abigail Pobran, Anna Fansher, Isabella Hauck, Alexis Clave and Talaina Dentler helped net the Polson FC team a total of 15 goals during the tournament. The Polson FC U-12 Girls' will be wrapping up their autumn season next weekend with games in Missoula.
