Lady Pirates take down Corvallis

Myranda Heiser and Madyson Luikart had goals as Polson defeated Corvallis 2-1 at home on Tuesday, Aug. 29.

Heiser scored in the 8th minute, assisted by Felicity Mihara in the score. Luikart followed that up in the 14th minute with a goal, assisted by Adamary Guerrero.

Corvallis got a goal in the second half but could not find an equalizer.

Hamilton gets late goal for win over Polson

Hamilton got a late goal to escape from Polson with the 1-0 Class A girls' soccer victory on the Lady Pirates field on Thursday, Aug. 31.

While Polson's London Davis had a late chance to tie the game up during stoppage time, the contest ended to drop the Lady Pirates to 2-2 on the year.

Polson thumps East Helena

The Lady Pirates reached 10 points in a nonleague road win against East Helena on Saturday, Aug. 26. Madyson Luikart had three goals and an assist, and London Davis had three goals and two assists in the win.

Polson also got two goals and an assist from Myranda Heiser, and scores from Felicity Mihara, Amelia Stene, and Adamary Guerrero. Mihara was a field general for the Lady Pirates, dishing out five assists in the matchup.

Polson drops road opener

Polson dropped its road opener on Friday, Aug. 25, falling to Lone Peak 5-1 in nonleague action. London Davis scored in the 51st minute, assisted by Madison Lake for the Lady Pirates' lone score of the game.
