Mission falls to Anaconda, Deer Lodge

Mission fell on the road to Deer Lodge, 25-18, 25-14, 25-13 in Class B volleyball action on Tuesday, Aug. 29 to fall to 0-2 on the year.
Kensey Burke and Izzy Evans each had 11 digs for the Lady Bulldogs in the matchup, while Jada Domebo and Amelia Cronk each had five assists and Weona Tenas added three aces.
On Thursday, Aug. 31, Mission played a spirited game against Anaconda but fell 25-15, 31-29, 25-10. Izzy Evans had nine kills and 10 digs in the matchup while Amelia Cronk dished out nine assists. Kensey Burke also had 10 digs and Cora Matt added two digs.
Arlee loses to Eureka
The Scarlets fell to Eureka in three sets in their home opener on Thursday, Aug. 31. Eureka’s Kara Stanger had 12 kills in the matchup, as her team won 25-14, 25-13, 25-16. Scores for Saturday’s matchup against Troy was not reported.
