Arlee blasts Darby; averaging 54 points per game

Arlee moved to 3-0 on the season with a 52-20 8-man football victory over Darby on Friday, Sept. 8. Jake Knoll rushed for three touchdowns, while Jace Arca had two other scores to power the Warriors to another big win.

Arco found the end zone with 9:20 left in the first quarter on a two-yard run. After a Darby score, Knoll ran the ball in from eight yards out near the end of the quarter.

Darby tied the game up 12-12 in the first quarter, and then a big Arlee scoring streak began. Arca returned a kickoff for 75 yards for a score. Knoll then ripped off a 46-yard touchdown run, and Arca found paydirt from seven yards out. Arlee quarterback Kendall O'Neill ran the ball in at the end of the second quarter for a 38-12 halftime lead.

The Warriors' defense blanked Darby in the third quarter while Knoll scored on a 67-yard touchdown run. Dusty Haynes ran it in in the fourth quarter from 37 yards out to cap off Arlee's scoring.

Arlee is averaging 54 points per game so far this season.
