Mandel “Bud” Louis Pollard, 84

| September 14, 2023 12:00 AM

With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved husband and father, Mandel (Bud) Louis Pollard. He died peacefully at the age of 84 on Sept. 8, 2023 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, from a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

He loved to crack jokes and make people smile. He could fix anything and loved his family fiercely. He was musical, intelligent and creative. Besides being his family’s anchor and biggest cheerleader, he was a retired electrician for the ASARCO Smelting Plant in East Helena, and served his country in the Army, and eventually retired from the Air National Guard as a Sergeant First Class.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Florence Pollard, with whom he celebrated their 60th anniversary; their children – Michelle Pena (Ray-deceased), James Pollard (Connie), Pam Pollard, and Heidi Raymond (Doug); and six grandchildren – Matthew, Jaron and Austin Pollard, Kylee Smith, Ruby Pena, and Savannah Withrow; his sisters – Ione Fitzpatrick and Lorelie Smith, and their families.

A Celebration of his life is planned for Spring of 2024 in Ronan, Mont.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
