Mission falls to Valley Christian

Despite Titan Mansell’s two touchdown passes, the Bulldogs fell to Valley Christian 43-18 in 8-man football action on Saturday, Sept. 10. Valley Christian built a 37-6 halftime lead, but Mission played them a might tighter in the second half.

Valley Christian had a 28-0 lead, then Mission got a three-yard touchdown pass by Mansell to Rhain Gonzalez. In the fourth quarter, Mansell threw a 10-yard score to Kelby Dumont, and Kai Obrien caught a one-yard touchdown pass by Vinney Shepard.

Mission fell to 2-1 on the year with the loss, while Valley Christian stayed undefeated.
