Fall Harvest Festival – 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Ronan Visitor’s Center; 13th annual event includes a vendors’ market, the Trail of Bales, live music, games, a petting zoo and cornhole tourney. Head to www.ronanchamber.com.

St. Luke Community Healthcare Foundation Dinner & Auction – 6 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Ronan Community Center; the evening includes a no-host cocktail reception at 6 p.m. and gourmet dinner at 7 p.m., along with live and silent auctions. Proceeds go to charitable projects of the Foundation, including efforts to purchase an in-house MRI unit. Call 406-528-5218 for reservations.

Top Dawg Arena Cross – 7 p.m. Sept. 15-16 at the Polson Fairgrounds; two action-packed nights of dirt-bike racing returns to the fairgrounds for the championship weekend. Tickets are available at the gate; head to www.facebook.com/topdawgarenacross.

Life Savers Animal Rescue BBQ – noon-3 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Ronan City Park Pavilion; LSAR’s second annual event celebrates adopters, foster families and supporters with a barbecue, raffles, merchandise and, of course, dogs. Visit lsar.org.

Toys for Tots Golf Scramble – Sept. 16 at Polson Bay Golf Course’ Marine Corps Reserves hosts this fourth annual event. Call 406-249-2250 for details.

International Peace Day Celebration – 6 p.m. Sept. 21 at Mission Valley United Methodist Church on Post Creek Hill; event includes face painting, rock painting, a cake walk, speakers and prayers for peace. Dinner begins at 7 p.m., and participants are encouraged to bring a favorite cultural dish to share, or just bring their family and enjoy the meal and festivities.

Mission Mountain Area Pedal to Plate – Sept. 23 to and from the Ronan Cooperative Brewery; registration is closed for this annual bike tour through the Mission Valley. The ride wraps up back at the brewery for farm-to-table dinner, local music from the Western Montana Musicians Cooperative and an artisan's farmers market. Although tour registration is closed, you can still sign up for dinner at www.bikereg.com/mmapp.

Lake County Republican Party Lincoln/Reagan Dinner – 1 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Ronan Community Center; gathering includes dinner, a Dessert Dash, a Henry rifle raffle and auction, and speeches by Tim Sheehy, candidate for U.S. Senate, Darin Gaub of Restore Liberty, and Mark Blasdel, Montana Senate President.

Lake County Democrats Picnic in the Park – 4 p.m. Sept. 17 at Boettcher Park in Polson; jambalaya will be served with rice and rolls; bring side dishes, beverages and chairs. A quilt raffle and drawing are on tap.

Skate Jam – noon-5 p.m. Sept. 23 at 7th Avenue – Polson Skate Park; open to all ages and enthusiasts – from spectators to seasoned riders – the event includes music, food, contests and giveaways. Look for more info on Facebook or Instagram.

Here Comes the Sun Beatles Tribute – 7 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center; the Mission Valley Live series opens with this quintet, featuring five top-notch vocalists and instrumentalists, celebrating the music of one of the most influential musical groups ever.
