The cool nights are welcome. Beware of bears as they continue to forage for winter rest.

The St. Ignatius Senior Center is looking to hire a site manager and assistant cook. The work is two or three days a week for six to eight hour a day. Call 406-745-4462 for more information.

We will be having a rummage sale on Sept 22-23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are also raffling a basket that has a Pendleton outside blanket, coffee beans, coffee grinder, cups and two hooded shirts.

The drawing is Sept. 23 at 4 p.m.

AARP driving course will be in October. Watch for date.

Lake County Health Department will be offering flu immunizations. Watch for date.

A big thanks to all that come and play bingo.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a meal at the center at noon Fridays and Tuesdays and 5:30 p.m. select Wednesdays. Menus are available via email, mail, or at the center. If you are interested in a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. and leave a message.

Main dishes include: tuna cakes, noon Sept. 15; chicken chili, noon Sept. 19; and roast turkey, 5:30 p.m. Sept. 20.

We invite people of all ages to become a member of the Senior Citizen Center for a fee of $10 a year.

Gentle Yoga meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays (call 406-253-0177); and Foot Hill Club gathers at 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays for snacks and cards.

The center has a computer available for public use from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays; and several personal-care items are available to share. The facility is also available to rent.

If you need help with transportation, respite and home health services, or other information, call the friendly people at Lake County Council on Aging in Ronan at 406-676-2367.
