Lady Vikings are road warriors

Charlo picked up a pair of road wins last week, downing St. Regis in three sets on Thursday, Sept. 14, and then defeating Hot Springs in four sets on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Against St. Regis, Aida Cote had 12 kills and three blocks as the Lady Vikings won 25-23, 25-20, 25-15. Karly Alder had 24 assists, while Shonlea Matt had 12 digs. Alder also had 13 digs and four aces.

Then on Saturday, Charlo had a four-set battle but defeated Hot Springs 25-23, 25-27, 25-22 and 25-19. Cote was again powerful with 13 kills. Alder had 17 assists, while Matt had 21 digs. At the net, Cote and Leah Cahoon each had two blocks and Graciela Hawk had two aces.

Mission picks up win against Superior

Mission picked up a sweep against Superior on the road Thursday, Sept. 14, by scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-7.

Izzy Evans led the Lady Bulldogs with nine kills, eight digs and six aces in the victory. Jada Domebo contributed nine assists.
