Mission Mountain Area Pedal to Plate – Sept. 23 to and from the Ronan Cooperative Brewery; registration is closed for this annual bike tour through the Mission Valley. The ride wraps up back at the brewery for farm-to-table dinner, local music from the Western Montana Musicians Cooperative and an artisan's farmers market. Although tour registration is closed, you can still sign up for dinner at www.bikereg.com/mmapp.
Skate Jam – noon-5 p.m. Sept. 23 at 7th Avenue – Polson Skate Park; open to all ages and enthusiasts – from spectators to seasoned riders – the event includes music, food, contests and giveaways. Look for more info on Facebook or Instagram.
Pickleball Clinic – 12:30-2:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the new tennis courts in St. Ignatius; call or text Kimimi Ashley by Friday, Sept. 22, at 406-273-8203 to sign up for the free clinic, taught by Mike Marnin.
Here Comes the Sun Beatles Tribute – 7 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center; the Mission Valley Live series opens with this quintet, featuring five top-notch vocalists and instrumentalists, celebrating the music of one of the most influential musical groups ever. Garlic Festival – 5-7 p.m. Sept. 29 at Good Old Days Park in St. Ignatius; all-local meal will be served, with beverages and live music by Wailing Aaron Jennings. Check www.eventbrite.com for tickets.
Fall Wildlife Festival – 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Ronan Visitor’s Centernext to Glacier Bank; CSKT Wildlife Management Program hosts this third annual gathering, which includes free cider pressing, information about fruit gleaning and Chronic Wasting Disease, and opportunities to visit with wildlife biologists about current projects on the Flathead Reservation.
