Milla Koger, a 14-year member of the Lake County Fair Board, retired from the board at the February meeting. She received a heart-shaped plaque for her service from fellow board member Katie Jo Elliot.

Koger has done many jobs during her time on the fair board – serving as Dog Superintendent, clerking the dog show, teaching judges at interview judging training, making treats and keeping judges fed during interview judging, judging open-class entries, and too many other things to mention.

Cake and ice cream were served, and Kroger received kind words from all board members. She even said she’d come back for interview judging and keep the judges fed again.
