Polson Tennis sweeps Stevensville

Polson spent it’s Saturday sweeping Stevensville in tennis action on March 30 with the girls winning their matchup 4-3 and the boys sweeping their contest.

On the boys’ side, No. 1 singles player for Polson Torrin Ellis defeated Angus Trangmoe 6-0, 6-0. Taegen Corge, Brandon Mags and Strider Gage also won their singles match-ups.

Polson’s No. 1 doubles team of Tate Barentsen and Otto Lund defeated their foes for a 6-2, 6-1 victory. No. 2 doubles of Brock Henriksen and Ruger Ellis downed their foes and No. 3 doubles team Max Violet and Noah Flaten swept their opponents.

On the girls' side, the Lady Pirates swept their singles match-ups. Julia Barnard defeated Stevensville’s Dani Fulton by a score of 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Summer Newman, Lauren Collinge, and Hinkley Moss also posted wins.

Stevensville girls claimed all the doubles’ matches.
