ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Polson Polson, Montana Hillside Tank Replacement Project General Notice City of Polson (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Hillside Tank Replacement Project Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of the Polson Department of Public Works at 106 1 st Street East, Polson, MT 59860 until April 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: The Base Bid includes: Earthwork to prepare new tank site, construction of new 750,000 gallon prestressed concrete tank, yard piping, an on-site overflow containment area and demolition of the existing Hillside 500,000 gallon metal tank. Overflow elevation of the new tank will match the overflow elevation of the existing tank. The new tank will be constructed to be partially below grade with fill surrounding the base. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Polson, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful bidder and a certificate of that insurance shall be provided. If the Invitation to Bid is amended, then all terms and conditions which are not modified remain unchanged. It is the bidder’s responsibility to keep informed of any changes to the solicitation. Bidders must sign and return with their bid an Acknowledgment of Addendum for any addendum issued. Bids that fail to include an Acknowledgement of Addendum may be considered unresponsive. Notice of Annual School and Special Purpose District Election Public Test of Voting Systems, Counting of Mail-Ballots, Counting of Provisional Ballots, and County Canvass Notice is hereby given by the Lake County Election Administrator, State of Montana that the Annual School District and Special Purpose District Election will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, by mail ballot. Ballots may be returned by mail or in-person at the Election Office (106 4 th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860) between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM from April 23 rd – May 6 th and 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Election Day, May 7 th . Advertisement for Public Comment and Review of Environmental Review Record Town of St. Ignatius will hold a public hearing on April 23, 2024, at 6pm at St. Ignatius City Hall for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the environmental review record for the proposed wastewater system improvement project that will replace the wastewater distribution system. Section 2-7-521, MCA, requires the publication of the following summary of significant findings.
