Dustin Blush will give a presentation on Computer Scam Awareness April 18. Call for more information.

Western Pleasure Tours, centered in Kalispell, will present a video about budget-minded modern bus tours to various travel destinations in the West at noon Friday, April 26, at the center. Call 208-283-9776 for info.

This is National Volunteer Month. If you, or someone you know, has volunteered at the center in past years have them call us with their name, phone contact, and any information they have about their service. This would include former board members, drivers, helpers with commodities, activities leaders, instructors or any others who have shared their time and talents. Celebrations will be at lunch time during the fourth week of April.

Wednesday is Cribbage Day! Also Scrabble, mahjongg, bridge, dominoes, backgammon, and obscure board/dice games. Some game boards are available or bring your own board game and a friend. Fun starts at 12:30 p.m.

Save on your auto insurance by taking the AARP Safe Driver Course with a trained group leader, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 23; registration is $25 ($20 for AARP members). There’s no text and it includes a lunch break.

Senior bowling continues at 1 p.m. Tuesdays ($13 lane fee).

Activities at the Polson center, open to all, include: wood carving for beginners, 1 p.m. Wednesday and Friday; self-guided, video-assisted exercise, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, sitting or standing; bingo, 6:30 p.m. Fridays ($100 blackout), with playing card bingo on the first and third Wednesdays; pinochle, 12:30-3 p.m. Thursdays.

The pool table is open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays. Inquire at the center about bridge.

A veteran’s representative visits the center on the first Friday and third Tuesday of each month.

Meals are available for sit-down, take-out or delivery from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. weekdays; a suggested donation of $5 helps support the nutrition program. The menu is posted each week at the center, although it’s subject to change. Call before 10 a.m. for grab-n-go.

Upcoming main dishes include: meatloaf, April 18; sloppy Joes, April 19; navy bean soup, April 22; ham and scalloped potatoes, April 23; soft shell tacos, April 24; Polish dogs, April 25; and Birthday Dinner for Lunch with roast turkey and all the trimmings, April 26.
