Polson Seniors: Senior Citizen’s Day is Aug. 21
I know that there seems to be a “day” celebrating something or someone. Well, the official “Senior Citizen’s Day” is Aug. 21. Celebrate it by being kind to a senior citizen every day of the year. We’ll pass it on.
Harvest Season is upon us. Fresh lettuce recently was donated to us by the Salish Kootenai College greenhouse volunteers. Thank you for your support of our Nutrition Program. If you have garden products to donate, bring them to the center where we will make good use of locally grown produce.

Nominations for officers and board members are now open for our next fiscal year starting Sept. 1. The annual meeting and elections start at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23. Lunch is served at noon.
You can look forward to events for dues-paying members in August (Banana splits?). Dues are only $15.
