Garden for Life seeks volunteers for raspberry patch

| August 22, 2024 12:00 AM

The Garden for Life in Arlee, a project of Arlee Community Development Corporation, is producing a bounty of fresh vegetables that supply the local food pantry, garden volunteers, and food partners throughout the region.

A new addition to the garden this year is a raspberry patch, and the garden crew invites volunteers to help clear out weeds from 10 a.m.-noon Friday, Aug. 23. Email foodsovereignty@arleedec.org or call 406-546-5633.

Arlee CDC is also planning to schedule another pickling class soon, after the last one was filled to capacity with a waiting list. Reserve a spot now by calling 406-726-5550 or emailing info@arleecdc.org.

The CDC is also gearing up to host another Youth Art Program, and encourages visitors to check out the colorful and creative artwork on display at several public locations around Arlee, and to stay tuned to the Arlee CDC Facebook page for info on the next offering.
